Osh Office

Nurbek Sariev
Director of EFCA Branch in Osh
Nurbek Sariev joined EFCA in July 2011 and oversees the coordination between all Youth Bank programs in southern Kyrgyzstan. Since December 2011 he is working as a deputy  of  EFCA executive director and responsible for  programme and  project implementation in southern Kyrgyzstan  including liaising and  coordination with  local government and other  international organizations, finance control and  general office management.

Mr. Sariev has substantial NGO experience since 2002, including experience in organizations such as the Center of Support of the Civil Society and the Foundation for Tolerance International as a project manager, program coordinator and director of regional office.  A fluent speaker of Russian, Kyrgyz and Uzbek, Mr. Sariev holds a B.A in History from Jalalabad State University.

Nargiza Sagyndykova
Finance Manager
Main duties: organization and maintenance of business and finance accounting in Osh branch of Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia. The Terms of reference includes the following: maintenance of business accounting, projects budget acting, budget developing, responsible for the management of material, labor and finance recourses, strictly adhering to the finance discipline. She started her professional activities within EFCA as Administrative/Finance Assistant in March, 2008. From April, 2010 to May, 2011 worked for EFCA on position of Finance Manager. After two years of working out of EFCA she was accepted on position of Finance manager. She has a wealth of experience in administrative/finance management of projects in local NGO as well as in International organizations. Before coming to EFCA she worked for PF “Human rights and democracy center”, United Nations Development Programs, PF «MSDSPKG» under Aga Khan Foundation.

Graduate of Osh Technological University, specialization “Finance and credit”. Successfully passed the 3-level course: Finance accounting-1, Management accounting-1 and Taxes and Low, she is Certified Accountant Practitioner (CAP). Member of the Chamber of Accountants and Auditors of Kyrgyzstan.

Dinara Kadyrova
Project Manager
Dinara Kadyrova joined EFCA in April, 2009 as a Program Assistant before being promoted to her current Program Manager position in March, 2010. As Programme Manager, Ms. Kadyrova has managed several conflict prevention projects as well as initiatives focused on youth and women empowerment. Before joining EFCA, Ms. Kadyrova held numerous positions at the Agricultural Extension and Training Center, where her responsibilities included providing coordination support, creation of project documentation and management of field-based interviewers.

Ms. Kadyrova has a B.A. in Foreign Language and Literature (English) from Osh Technological University and has obtained M.S. in Social Research from the University of Edinburgh through FCO/OSI Chevening scholarship. Ms. Kadyrova speaks fluent Kyrgyz, Russian and English and conversational Uzbek.

Meerim Asanova
Project Assistant
Meerim Asanova joined EFCA in June 2011 as assistant of project  “Protection of Persons with Disabilities affected by the Violence in Southern Kyrgyzstan,” later in October of 2011 she became involved with the project “Cross-Border Youth Cooperation,” and currently Meerim works in the project entitled “Youth Rights, Inclusion and Political Engagement in Southern Kyrgyzstan.”

She has graduated from  Kyrgyz National University’s Institute of Law (a specialist). Meerim has completed internshisp at the  Prosecutor General’s Office, Prosecutor’s Office in Bishkek, the Ministry of Justice in 2006 – 2011. Meerim also served as an  administrator of General Republican Testing in 2010. She has been a participant of the “Work and Travel” program in 2009 and visited Chicago, IL. Meerim is fluent in Kyrgyz (native) and Russian, and possesses conversational  English.

Azizbek Kenjebaev
Grants and Contracts Manager
Azizbek Kenjebaev joined EFCAOsh office in October 2011 as a grants and contracts manager. He has graduated from Osh State University, the department of “Business and Administration.”

Before joining EFCA, Azizbek has an extensive experience in micro financing sphere, in particular he has been Chief of Osh branch of Micro finance Company ”OXUS.” Has completed the training on “Essentials of Rural and Agricultural Microfinance.”

Gulsana Abytova
Project Manager
Gulsana joined EFCA Osh team as a Women’s Bank coordinator in August 2012. Her main responsibilities in this position include coordinating the work of Women’s Bank members and conducting consultation for women in managing small grass-roots projects.
She graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Osh State University and holds PhD degree in philological sciences. Gulsana has a vast experience in teaching and research activities.

Before joining EFCA Gulsana worked as a Director of Information Center for Democracy in Nookat town supported by National Democratic Institute U.S. for international affairs (NDI). Gulsana has over 6 years of experience in mobilization, NGO management and project management.

Asel Zhoroeva
Office manager
Asel Zhoroeva started in FOF “Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia”, in September 2012, as an office manager. It maintains documentation on administrative, personnel and financial activities of the organization. And also involved considering accounting and treasury operations in the program 1C.

Prior to joining the team had experience in the banking reference system, in lending.Has a degree in “Management Organization”. Fluent in Kyrgyz and Russian, as well as spoken English.
